Well, this is unexpected...

Anyone who has been following me since this blog started will have noticed that it has been a while since I last posted.

On Tuesday 3 May 2022, my world got upended. I found out I have breast cancer. As can be imagined, things have been rather overtaken by the emotional rollercoaster post diagnosis alongside the endless rounds of hospital visits, doctor appointments and all that malarkey.

I have deactivated the shop attached to this blog whilst I am receiving treatment and posts may only be sporadic, as and when I have the energy or inclination to write and sew during the six months ahead when I will be going through chemotherapy and after when I have surgery.

I hope that anyone who follows this blog will be patient with me in the absence of project posts or YouTube videos.

I will not be turning this into a cancer blog - it was started for strictly sewing and that is how it will remain. I have, however, decided to start a Facebook page for my cancer journey, and should anyone wish to follow it, you can find it here :
